I don’t have a new recipe this week because it was Golden Week here in Japan (a series of national holidays in May), so I enjoyed a slower week with family.

Instead, I wanted to share what I’ve been making lately. I bought a whole box of tomatoes, and with the warmer weather, refreshing tomato recipes have been perfect!

Speaking of Golden Week, we visited Odawara, a coastal town in Japan known for its fresh seafood and historic castle. We enjoyed fresh seafood chirashi sushi, and it was so fresh and delicious — such a nice holiday treat!
