✨ Delicious Ways to Enjoy Chilled Tofu + More!

Apologies for the earlier incomplete email...

Hi there Reader --

Lots to share with you this week!

Is it feeling hot where you are? Summer in Japan is extremely humid 🫠, and that makes us crave something cold and refreshing. In my latest video, I’m sharing 7 delicious toppings to enjoy with hiyayakko (chilled tofu). Each one is easy and tasty, so I hope you’ll find your favorite. (Mine is okra!)

If you’re a natto fan, I also put together a post all about Mizkan, one of Japan’s most popular natto brands. You may remember I previously introduced Takano Foods—now it’s Mizkan’s turn! I hope you can find their products at your local grocery store or online.

And lastly, I’ve added a new entry to my Ingredient Guide series: Rice Vinegar! A must-have in Japanese cooking, from sushi rice to dressings.
