✨ New! All About Miso!

Hi there Reader --

How’s your New Year going so far? I’m excited to share lots of healthy and delicious recipes and ideas with you this year!

During the year-end break, I spent some time writing new articles, especially about miso. That’s because I recently took the Miso Sommelier exam and passed! 🎉 I shared a little more about it in my Personal Note below.

I’ve published quite a few miso-related articles, so instead of sharing everything at once, today I’ll start with just one, and I also have a new video for you!

💌 My Personal Note

Last year, I took the Miso Sommelier certification exam, and I’m happy to say I passed! 🎉

The exam included both a written test and a tasting test, covering everything from miso history and food science to the production process and how to read labels. There was so much to learn!

Even though I passed, I feel like there’s still so much more to explore. I’m looking forward to sharing what I learn with you, little by little 😊

I hope you continue to enjoy cooking along with Chef JA Cooks in 2026.

Thanks for reading. Matane またね!
