✨ New! A Simple Guide to Japanese Seaweed

Hi there Reader --

Today I’m sharing a simple, friendly guide to Japanese seaweed.

If you want to add seaweed to your everyday meals but aren’t sure how to use it, this guide is a good place to start.

In the guide, I introduce three common seaweeds used in Japanese cooking — nori, wakame, and kombu — with simple ideas for how to use each one at home.

I also made a short video, so you can see the seaweeds more clearly and get a better feel for how each one is used.

I also made individual guides for each seaweed:

I hope these guides make Japanese seaweed feel more approachable and fun to use in your kitchen ☺️
